Animal Crossing Fruit Series Codes

Fruit, furniture, friends, the three Fs. What else could you possibly need?

You start Animal Crossing: New Horizons with one type of fruit — peaches, pears, apples, oranges or cherries — but if you want to fill up your Nook Miles, you’ll need every fruit. The Animal Crossing series has a wide variety of features, but one of the longest-running mechanics to make a return in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is native fruit trees. For some Animal. A major aspect of Animal Crossing New Horizons is the ability to visit other players islands. This mechanic allows you to get different fruit, flowers, and even clothing you may not have access to on your island. To visit other players islands you will want to utilize the Island Airport. Here you can fly to various places including friend’s.

Update 12/12/2020: More than 95K codes can be found in our comments below, which is simply insane. Thank you to everyone that has jumped in to share and play with us.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is finally here. As of the 20th of March 2020 we can finally dive into the wonderful world of escapism that only Nintendo's slice of life game can truly deliver. So, grab your Nintendo Switch and hop online... Actually, wait a minute. As with most Nintendo games - even its mobile offerings, like Mario Kart Tour - access to Ronnie Rando, Arbitrary Anne and friends is gated behind a friend code system.

So, we here at Pocket Gamer have a solution for you. Especially those who are truly embracing the spirit of adventure. We've built this post to give you a chance to gather a great list of new friends to play with.

Of course, there are other ways to have others play on your island. Animal Crossing: New Horizons has console-sharing mode when you have multiple users on the same device, however, everybody will - at present - have to bundle onto the same island... which certainly destroys the thrill of exploring a new land. Otherwise, there is a local play option where one person hosts and others can ping in.

So, how do you get your friend code in order to share it in this handy-dandy post?

  • Step one: Tap on your profile icon in the top left of the console.
  • Step two: Tap 'add friend'.
  • Step two-and-a-half: Voila! Your code will appear beneath your username.
  • Step three: Share your code with your Pocket Gamer friends below if you'd like to.

Are there any alternatives though?

As it turns out, there is. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons there are also Dodo Codes which are single-shot codes to create lobbies. Grabbing those is quite simple: just head down to the Dodo Airlines building, tell Orville that you want visitors from far-off islands, and read through the mass of warnings from Nintendo about being mischievous

At this point, you can grab the five-digit Dodo Codes by opting to not invite from your friends list. You can also share those below, but be aware that you're in a comment thread and so responses may not be immediate.

So, leave your friend codes and Dodo codes in the comments below -- as well as which native fruit you have on your island -- and why not tell us what you think of Animal Crossing: New Horizon too?

And, of course, while you're here. Feel free to check out our quick Q&A post for Animal Crossing: New Horizon tips & hints, and if there's anything you think we've missed or any questions you still have, pop them below and we'll share all of the info we have.

Animal Crossing New Horizons QR codes allow you to customize your game with new designs. Import your favorite paintings, album covers, memes, and other designs by learning how to scan QR codes and using custom codes at the Able Sisters’ Shop.

How To Scan Animal Crossing New Horizons QR Codes

Before proceeding, we should explain what QR codes are and what they do. Custom designs can be created in New Horizons that can be shared with players via Design IDs or Creator IDs. These IDs are entered on the kiosk in the Able Sister’s shop.

Custom designs made on older Animal Crossing games like New Leaf can be imported into New Horizons via QR Codes. To scan QR codes in the game, you need a few things. First, you will need the Nintendo Switch Online mobile app to access NookLink. You can download it here:

You will need to purchase Nintendo Switch Online service, which is $20/year to use NookLink. Consider this a small investment to make your island look amazing. Sign in to the Nintendo Switch Online app with the same account you use to play Animal Crossing New Horizons.

You will see Animal Crossing New Horizons under Game-Specific Services on the bottom of the screen. Now, go to your Switch and press the minus button on the title screen of New Horizons to open the settings menu.

Enable NookLink from the settings, and you will be able to import custom designs into the game by scanning them on your phone through the Nintendo Switch Online app. Open up New Horizons, and you can use the Custom Designs app on your Nookphone, which costs 800 Nook Miles at the Resident Services building to be unlocked.

Import Custom Designs in Able Sisters’ Shop

For alphanumeric codes, you will need to enter creator codes at the Able Sisters’ shop. There is a kiosk located in the back to do this, but you will again need internet access and a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership.

After choosing to access the kiosk, a screen will pop up where you can search custom designs by Design ID or by Creator ID. Search through a bunch of creations from one person or search specific Design IDs like the ones listed below with this method.
