Game Development

Scott Cawthon introduced a teaser image of Sister Location in April, with the title “Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location. The animatronic looks like a creepy clown. After that, this animatronic was exposed and named Circus Baby. Then, other different animatronics are revealed later.

The initial trailer was introduced on the official channel of Cawthon on Youtube, revealing new animatronics and a brand new zone. The game was expected to be launched in this fall, then its official release date was affirmed to be on October 7, 2016.

There was one teaser image introduced on the website of Cawthon in August, followed by the text “Cancelled. Due to Leaks”. These hints were first believed that the game would be canceled because of the leaked voice of Ballora, an animatronic in the game. Then, it was exposed to be just a small section of the storyline.
